What is the H-1B Visa?
The H-1B visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows U.S. employers to employ foreign workers in specialty occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise in specialized fields such as IT, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, and medicine. There is an annual cap of 65,000 visas plus 20,000 for advanced degree holders.

3 years, extendable to 6 years
