R-1-Visum
Das R-1-Visum setzt voraus, dass der Antragsteller seit mindestens zwei Jahren Mitglied einer religiösen Denomination ist. Der Arbeitgeber muss eine US-amerikanische gemeinnützige Religionsorganisation sein. Nach zwei Jahren R-1-Status kann ein Antrag auf die religiöse Arbeiterkategorie der Green Card (EB-4) gestellt werden.
