Eligibility Requirements

Accepted by a SEVP-certified school

Enrolled in a full course of study

Proficient in English or enrolled in English-learning courses

Sufficient financial resources for tuition and living expenses

Maintained residence abroad with no intention of abandoning

Application Process

Receive Form I-20 from the accepted school

Pay the SEVIS fee (I-901)

Complete Form DS-160 online

Schedule and attend a visa interview

Receive F-1 visa stamp in passport
