Standard Operating Procedures for Prospective Homebuyers

Pursuant to New York Real Property Law Section 442-h(3) and 19 NYCRR Part 175, Reinvent NY, Inc. applies the following standardized operating procedures uniformly to every prospective purchaser of real property.
Identification
Prospective homebuyers are not required to show identification before receiving our services. Identification may be requested later in a transaction when a building, seller, lender or attorney requires it.
Exclusive buyer representation agreement
Prospective homebuyers are not required to sign an exclusive buyer representation agreement before receiving our services.
Mortgage pre-approval
Prospective homebuyers are not required to provide a mortgage pre-approval letter or proof of funds before receiving our services. Such documents may be requested before an offer is submitted, as sellers commonly require them.
Application of these procedures
These procedures are applied uniformly to all prospective homebuyers regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, citizenship or immigration status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, familial status, military status, lawful source of income, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
