法人税
法人税とは、連邦政府およびほとんどの州政府が法人の利益に対して課す税金です。2017年の税制改革法（TCJA）により、米国の連邦法人税率は現在 21% です。
ニューヨークで事業を行う法人は、州および市の追加税負担があります。NYS のフランチャイズ税に加え、NYC は配分された純利益に対して 8.85% の法人税を課します。合計すると、NYC 企業の実効税率は 30% を超えることがあります。
E-2 や EB-5 ビザで事業を設立する海外投資家にとって、法人税の構造を理解することは事業計画に不可欠です。C-Corp、S-Corp、LLC の選択が税負担に大きく影響するため、国際税務に精通した CPA への相談が推奨されます。
