Traitement Consulaire
Le traitement consulaire implique une entrevue dans un consulat américain du pays de résidence du demandeur. Une fois approuvé, le demandeur reçoit un visa d'immigrant qui lui permet d'entrer aux États-Unis en tant que résident permanent. Cette procédure est utilisée par les personnes se trouvant à l'étranger ou celles qui ne peuvent pas ajuster leur statut depuis les États-Unis.
