Das Visa Bulletin wird monatlich herausgegeben und enthält zwei Tabellen: Tabelle A zeigt Daten für die Einreichung von Green Card-Anträgen, Tabelle B zeigt endgültige Aktionsdaten für die Visaerteilung. Die Daten variieren je nach Visumkategorie und Geburtsland des Antragstellers. Bei Rückstaus in bestimmten Kategorien können Prioritätsdaten gelegentlich auch rückwärtsgehen.
