Selbständigensteuer
Selbständige Unternehmer müssen 15,3% Selbständigensteuer auf ihre Nettoeinkünfte zahlen, wobei die Hälfte davon als Betriebsausgabe abzugsfähig ist. Diese Steuer gilt zusätzlich zur regulären Einkommensteuer. E-2-Visumsinhaber und andere ausländische Unternehmer, die in den USA selbständig tätig sind, unterliegen ebenfalls dieser Steuerpflicht.
