H-1B-Visum
Das H-1B-Programm ist bei Technologieunternehmen sehr beliebt und wird hauptsächlich für IT-, Ingenieur- und Wissenschaftsberufe genutzt. Aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage findet jedes Jahr im April eine Lotterie statt. Das Visum wird zunächst für drei Jahre ausgestellt und kann auf insgesamt sechs Jahre verlängert werden, mit weiteren Verlängerungsmöglichkeiten bei laufendem Green Card-Antrag.
